The Almost

While originally started as a side project by one man, The Almost has grown to be so much more. The band's debut album 'Southern Weather' garnered the band much attention and resulted in a top 10 hit on the U.S. modern rock charts. While the debut was recorded solely by Aaron Gillespie from Underoath, their follow-up album 'Monster Monster' is a truly collaborative full band effort. Both fan and critic reaction has been nothing but positive to this new album, and I can definitely echo those sentiments. This is a strong follow-up to a CD that has spent many days on end in my car for road trips. I fully expect that 'Monster Monster' will follow in those footsteps.

I had the pleasure of speaking with guitarist Dusty Redmon recently about this new release and their upcoming tour.
