Many of today's movies are starting to use all forms of rock music in the soundtrack to compliment the movie. So when the 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' came across my desk, I was pretty impressed with the intense list of rock legends and artists. Featuring the hit single, 'New Divide,' from rock legend Linkin Park, and many other hit songs, the album proves to show off the true magnitude of the movie as a whole.

When you combine rock legends such as Cheap Trick,(who remixed the original Transformers song from the old cartoon), Green Day's '21 Guns' from their recently released album, Nickelback's 'Burn it to the Ground,' and the aforementioned Linkin Park with the alternative hits of The Used's remix of the classic hit, 'Burning Down the House,' Taking Back Sunday's 'Capital M-E,' Avenged Sevenfold's smash hit, 'Almost Easy,' and The All American Rejects 'Real World,' you get a record that people will definitely want to add to their collection, whether they see the movie or not. It reaches out to all fans of different rock genres, and shows off a wide variety of talent in the industry.

The album is out now, and all rock fans should rush out to buy this hit soundtrack, and see how well it complements the movie and its action packed, dramatic plot.
