This magazine always expands its horizons and loves listening to all forms of rock music, from pop punk to classic rock. However, it is always good to listen to good old fashioned hard rock. This was just the case when I listened to Drive A's album, 'Loss of Desire.' Helming from the rock scene out of Los Angeles, CA, Drive A manages to get our inner rocker going with hard hitting guitars, killer vocals and fast and immense drumming.

Featuring Bruno Mascolo on vocals and lead guitar, Jason Nott on rhythm guitar and vocals, Chris Bowman on bass guitar and vocals, and Terry Stirling on drums, Drive A is the definition of hard core rock and roll. Having signed on to the same label as Anti-Flag and Rise Against, the band has been gathering a huge following, and has already played on the Vans Warped Tour in 2008, starred on their own tour, and toured with the likes of Anti-Flag, Stone Temple Pilots, and Rise Against.

The music never slows down, and their hard hitting lyrics take no prisoners. The perfect blend of intense guitars, deep vocals and a never ending wave of drums, 'Loss of Desire' is a must have for any headbanger's summer music list.
