Karate High School is the songwriting project of Paul McGuire, and the band has evolved throughout the course of its three full length albums. Mixing rock, alternative, electronic and pop music, the band is releasing its third album, 'Invaders,' this year. Combining heavy keyboards with the classic elements of rock music, (guitars, drums, and of course intense vocals), the band makes each song into a story all their own.

The band's members have changed dramatically over the past three albums. The current members of the band include Paul McGuire on vocals, keyboard and guitar, Ray Bautista on keyboards, (Ray is the only member of the band to have been in the group since their first album), Aaron McVeigh on drums, and Geoff Garnett on guitar.

Featuring such clever songs as 'Zombie's Everywhere' and 'Fell in Love with a Robot,' the band uses it's unique musical stylings to tell a humorous and entertaining story through each of its songs. The lyrics are very matter of fact, which give more of an entertainment factor to each track. The keyboards really add a special experience to the music, and help make the music seem new and fresh. Any punk, electronica or rock fan should listen to this album, which has now been released and is available for purchase. It is the perfect summer music when driving around with friends and relaxing on a hot summer day.
