Fans of Julien-K have been primed and ready for their debut full-length album. With the release of 'Death to Analog' the
band is looking toward the future, one with much well-deserved success.
The band was originally formed by Orgy guitarists Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh in 2003, and then has added band members
Anthony Valcic, Brandon Belsky, and Elias Andra. The band is also a remixing and production team, with members involved in
other projects including a collaboration with Linkin Park's Chester Bennington with the band Dead by Sunrise.
The band has been featured on the main stage of Projekt Revolution, and has toured with Evanescence and Mindless Self
Indulgence. To further add to their fame, the band was asked to write and record the soundtrack for the Transformers: Revenge
of the Fallen video game. It is safe to say that this busy band is going to be a rock sensation for many years to come.
There are plenty of bands out there playing techno rock, but Julien-K goes much deeper than a trend. 'Death To Analog'
brings back the kind of stand out music that a band like Depeche Mode brought to us back in the day. It has a definitive
flavor and feel to it that isn't attempted by other bands on the scene......except for maybe Depeche Mode themselves. Having
seen Julien-K live last year I can attest to the great live show they put on as well. I highly recommend this record to our
readers.
