Review by Anthony Avina

As awesome and amazing as hard rock is, it is always nice to have a change of pace in your music listening schedule. So when Aluminum Babe's album, '17,' arrived on my doorstep, I was both intrigued and eager to hear something new, and I can easily say that it did not disappoint. Featuring a blend of pop, rock, punk, and classic 80's music, '17' shows off the artistic stylings of the band.

The band's music seems to express every emotion a person can think of all at the same time, allowing fans to feel connected and welcomed by the band. Featuring such songs as 'Psycho Killer' and 'Infatuation,' the album gives listeners a release from classic rock and introduces them to the punk era, reminding this writer of The Sex Pistols.

The first term to come to mind when listening to this album is rebellious, for it never follows a basic pattern of any one genre, but blends all the different rock genres throughout the ages to give a unique listening experience. Just when you think you've narrowed down the pattern of a song, it will shift swiftly in the opposite direction, and fans will never feel bored. Even shy, boring people will want to get up and dance as the sweet melodies of Aluminum Babe pours out of the speakers, and I highly suggest any fan of music in general pick up this album.
