In the music industry, it is not common for a band to get overnight success. However, Virgin Records newest rock band
Adelitas Way is very well on its way to achieving just that. Presenting themselves as a forceful new rock band playing what
can only be described as pure rock music, the band has managed to gain national recognition for its song, 'Invincible,' and
has been asked to tour with a wide range of popular rock bands. It stands to reason that this band is going to become an
instant highlight in this industry.
The Band consists of lead vocalist Rick DeJesus, lead guitarist and backup vocalist Chris Iono, Keith Wallen on rhythm
guitar and backup vocals, Derek Johnston on bass guitar and backup vocals, and Trevor Stafford on drums and backup vocals.
Already their hit single 'Invincible' has been featured on CSI: Miami's finale commercials, and has become the official theme
song for the WWE Superstars show on UPN. This just proves how talented and well recognized the band has become in a very short
period of time.
With such great songs as 'Invincible,' 'Scream,' and 'Dirty Little Thing' showing off the bands true rock nature, it is
easy to imagine why they are touring with rock greats Saliva, and are already set to tour with Theory of a Deadman in November
and Shinedown sometime in early January 2010. This band can easily be defined as true rock, and any rock fan of all ages should
look for the debut self-titled album from Adelitas Way, set to drop on July 14, 2009.
