CD Review - My Epic

Review by Anthony Avina

When I first picked up My Epic's album, I am Undone, I had a good feeling from the beginning. Although hard rock is great to head bang along to, it is always great to hear some amazing soft rock backed with great vocals. That was what I heard when I listened to My Epic's latest album.

Each song brings fourth a large amount of emotion with it, and showcases true empathy. This three member band consists of Jeremiah Austin, Jesse Stone, and Aaron Stone. This trio shows what it means for the youth of our world to never lose hope, and their message comes through loud and clear in this album.

From the mix of soft and hard hitting guitars in songs like "The Oil Press" to lovely melodies evident in songs like "You Became I", the album shows that the band can showcase a large range of talent. It is always great to hear an artist rise well above any expectations, and we hope to hear many great things from My Epic here at Rock on Request magazine.
