LYNAM- 'Tragic City Symphony'

Lynam's latest record, "Tragic City Symphony', brings back what is great in the rock music world with their own unique sounds. You can detect their classic rock roots within the first song. Their front man, Jacob Bunton's raw and pure rock vocals cover a broad spectrum and remind me of artists such as Axl Rose and at times of Chris Martin of Coldplay, particularly in the song 'Just Say Anything'. The diversity on this record shows their ability to deliver the best of both worlds with both hard rock sensibilities and beautiful melodies.

Lynam's current single that was released on July 14th is called 'Save My Soul', and really it showcases the band's talent as a whole. But the song on their album that struck me the most was 'Lindsay Says'. While it has its rock credibility, it also has radio play potential. The lyrics are deep and well-written and made the song incredible. 'Just Say Anything' was my second favorite because once again, the lyrics were very intellectual and meaningful, which for me, is what makes or breaks a song. Its a fantastic love ballad that I could also easily see being a hit.

The album is of great quality and was very well-produced by Jason Elgin, who also produced their other records, and has worked with Collective Soul and Creed as well. Lynam's CD 'Tragic City Symphony' is set to be released on August 26th, and I'm sure the Lynam fans won't be disappointed with the rock trio's latest efforts.
